Additional Services:
- Rotor Adjustment
If the brake rotor is bent, it can prevent proper brake function. We’ll inspect and adjust it for you. - Rotor Replacement (Optional Add-On)
Some scooters have complex designs where the motor wire exits near the rotor. In these cases, rotor replacement may take up to 45 minutes instead of 15 minutes, resulting in additional labor costs.
Important Notes:
- Pad Replacement for Mechanical Brakes: Requires a brake adjustment for proper alignment.
- Pad Replacement for Hydraulic Brakes: No major adjustment is needed unless the rotor is bent.
- Rotor Issues: A bent rotor can complicate repairs. We’ll notify you if it needs to be replaced or adjusted before completing other brake work.
- Many times we may do a brake bleed and only find out after that you have a faulty caliper or master cylinder.
